Banks & Accounts
DeutschesKonto.ORG does not claim to explain all of the more than 1,000 banks in Germany.
For our readers and fans (page in German language), we especially focus on the most interesting providers (our subjective selection), even if we know many others quite well.
For most people, one or two – but absolutely outstanding – bank account(s) are enough.
Thrilling:
We often receive thankfulness and appreciation for our explanations, on how to cleverly and optimally use banking products. Such feedback even came from the customer service of the bank.
Take advantage of our elaborations, instructions and reports to create the best bank account compilation for yourself. Sometimes, you can directly take over our work, sometimes you complete it individually.
You are welcome to help other readers with your solutions. For this – and for your questions – we have activated the comments boxes below our articles.

Of course, that is possible. Not every bank open accounts for people outside from Germany, but some. What do you want do with this bank account? How long? And do you have some wishes what does the account can do?
… then we can give you some recommendations. Oh, important: do you speak some German? For some banks is that a requirement. In general you need for account opening a passport.
Thanks for your quickly respond
I am really need the visit or stay more than two months every seven months and I m not speaking GERMANY .
Sorry, with these few information we can only advise to contact a local bank when you arrive in Germany.
